 Cesium Lithium Borate CsLiB6O10 (CLBO) is a nonlinear crystal perfect for harmonic generation in the UV range with a transmission cut-off edge reaching 180 nm. Compared with common BBO nonlinear optical material, CLBO crystals feature larger spectral and temperature acceptance, better angle tolerance, and a smaller walk-off angle. CLBO is a good choice for frequency doubling (SHG), and it is suitable for frequency quadrupling (FHG) of high-power Nd:YAG laser systems. CLBO shows no saturation for high-power generation due to the absence of two-photon absorption typically observed in BBO and KDP crystals. 

CLBO is a highly hygroscopic NLO crystal material. Therefore, standard CLBO crystals are supplied sealed in 1 inch (ø25.4 mm) housings with anti-reflection coated UV FS protective windows. Unmounted CLBO crystals are available upon custom request.
