Description
Air-Cooled Beam Dumps are designed to block continuous wave (CW) or pulsed laser beams. These beam traps can effectively absorb beams with optical power of up to 50 W. They feature a wide wavelength range and can be operated with lasers from 0.1 to 30 µm.
Convection cooled beam dumps can be used for laser safety applications as even if the non-reflective coating is damaged by high intensity pulses, there is no backward reflection.
Beam dumps come in two varieties: compact 990-0801 for beams up to ø20 mm and max power of 5 W, and 990-0800 for beams up to ø48 mm handling power of up to 50 W.
