Beam Dumps

We offer laser beam blocking devices for blocking or absorbing laser beams. Unwanted laser beams or parasitic scattered light may need to be effectively suppressed for laser safety purposes.

Air-cooled and water-cooled beam dumps are designed to absorb high power CW or pulsed laser beams in the wavelength range of the 0.1-30 µm.

Motorized optical beam shutters are beneficial when laser beam needs to be temporarily blocked and released at other times.

Air-Cooled Beam Dumps 990-0800

Air-cooled beam dumps can block CW or pulsed laser beams in the wavelength range from 0.1 to 30 µm. Beam dumps of two sizes are available: with an aperture of ø48 mm (up to 50 W) or ø20 mm (up to 5 W).

Water-Cooled Beam Dump 990-0820

Water-cooled beam dump is designed for operation with high-power CW or pulsed lasers (up to 1 kW). It covers a wide wavelength range from 0.1 to 30 µm. Large active aperture can handle laser beams up to 2" wide.

Laser Beam Shutters

Ultra thin (only 14.7 mm) laser beam shutters designed to block laser beam in dense optical setups. Laser beam shutters are equipped with DC motors and can be supplied in a set with appropriate controller and power supply.
