EKSMA has taken control of EKSPLA

EKSMA has taken control of EKSPLA UAB by increasing number of owned shares to 99.61%. Within the frame of acquisition shareholders of EKSPLA are receiving shares of EKSMA at agreed rate. At the same time shareholders of EKSMA and EKSPLA have agreed to consolidate all laser and photonics related businesses of both companies within EKSPLA UAB, where Laser & Laser Systems and Photonics Components Divisions are established. Both EKSPLA and EKSMA trademarks will be used for Laser and Components businesses respectively in the future. The deal is effective starting 1st January 2004.

Photonics Components Div. is overtaking all responsibilities of EKSMA photonics business.
